INTERNSHIP DAYS

The Internship Days programme offers students enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programme in Accounting, Auditing and Control opportunities to undertake curricular internships with its partner organisations. More than 3 university credits (CFU) may only be awarded for internships undertaken with organisations that have a specific agreement with the Degree Programme and participate in the initiative.

This policy was adopted by the Teaching Committee in November 2023, in response to student requests, to ensure the quality and consistency of learning experiences when a substantial proportion of credits is earned through external activities. The programme aims to complement academic learning with professional experiences relevant to the degree, enabling students to apply their knowledge, develop skills and make informed career choices.

For internships worth 3 CFU, the choice of host organisation is not limited to the Degree Programme’s partners: students may also undertake internships with other organisations, provided that the activities are relevant to the subjects taught within the degree class and that the required procedures for arranging internships and recognising credits are followed.

Internship Days bring together students and the Degree Programme’s partners, providing an opportunity to learn about host organisations, the activities they offer and available internship opportunities. Application and selection procedures are set out in the respective calls for applications.
