Curricular requirements

CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS (from A.Y. 2025-2026)

Graduates from Italian universities meet the curricular requirements if they fall into one of the following two cases:

  1. Graduates with a bachelor's degree in the L18 or L33 classes automatically meet the curricular requirements, provided they have taken courses related to financial accounting.
  2. Graduates with a degree different from the ones mentioned above meet the requirements if they have earned the following ECTS:
    • At least 12 ECTS in the scientific-disciplinary sector ECON-06/A - Business Administration (formerly SECS-P/07);
    • At least an additional 12 ECTS in the business disciplinary area in one or more of the following scientific-disciplinary sectors: ECON-06/A - Business Administration (formerly SECS-P/07), ECON-07/A - Business Management (formerly SECS-P/08), ECON-08/A - Organization (formerly SECS-P/10), ECON-09/A - Finance (formerly SECS-P/09), and ECON-09/B - Banking (formerly SECS-P/11);
    • At least 16 ECTS in the law, economic, and statistical-mathematical disciplinary area in one or more of the following scientific-disciplinary sectors: GIUR-01/A - Private Law (formerly IUS/01), GIUR-02/A - Commercial Law (formerly IUS/04), GIUR-03/A - Economic Law (formerly IUS/05), GIUR-04/A - Labor Law (formerly IUS/07), GIUR-05/A - Constitutional and Public Law (formerly IUS/09), GIUR-08/A - Tax Law (formerly IUS/12), ECON-01/A - Political Economy (formerly SECS-P/01), ECON-02/A - Economic Policy (formerly SECS-P/02), ECON-03/A - Public Finance (formerly SECS-P/03), STAT-01/A - Statistics (formerly SECS-S/01), STAT-02/A - Economic Statistics (formerly SECS-S/03), STAT-04/A - Mathematical Methods of Economics and Actuarial and Financial Sciences (formerly SECS-S/06), MATH-03/A - Mathematical Analysis (formerly MAT/05), and MATH-06/A - Operations Research (formerly MAT/09);
    • At least 3 ECTS in English language or a certification of English language proficiency that ensures the student's ability to follow an English-taught course or to use English materials (oral level B1 and written comprehension level B2).

Graduates from foreign universities have the curricular requirements for admission to the MSc program if they meet conditions deemed equivalent to those regarding the knowledge of English and a BSc focused on subjects in the business, economic, legal, and statistical-mathematical disciplinary areas. Compliance with these conditions is verified by the Teaching Committee.
